I curate a radio show on CAMP Radio which broadcasts direct from their arts facility high in the French Pyrenees.
The station has a “diverse array of audible pleasures, from drones to poetry, punk to grime, improv to environmental sound … with regular shows from Wire Magazine, Ashtray Navigations, WANDA GROUP, Bomb Shop, Muyassar Kurdi, Tor Press, Crow Vs Crow, Star Turbine, Golden Lab Recordings, Astral Social Club, EIS HAUS, Sicsic Tapes, Outblinker, Guttersnipe, Was Ist Das?” and now me.
The current show is Bradford Sound Artists Radio. From March 2022 to March 2024 I anchored a show playing tracks from the ethical streaming platform Resonate.
Bradford Sound Artists Radio
Bradford Sound Artists is a loose collective of sound artists from in and around the Bradford district. The radio show is a way to share sound and music that we find interesting with an audience that might be equally curious.
Broadcast dates
The show is broadcast every 4 weeks on a Sunday at 6pm CET (5pm in the UK). It is available to listen again soon after on the CAMP Radio Mixcloud, and on this page.

Gilank is a duo of Bradford-based experimental electro-acoustic musicians, Alice Gilmour and shi Blank. They build sound worlds using acoustic instruments (violin, flute, percussion, voice), electric (bass guitar, keyboard, contact mics), and loop and effects pedals.

Altered Lane

Altered Lane, was created by myself, Hannah Lamb, Stu Bannister & Lukas Hornby in our hometown, and will be broadcast at 6pm BST on Sunday 27th March 2022 on Resonance Extra
The piece is a group composition of haunted sound-geographies. Using un-treated and modified field recordings produced with open source software we’ve assembled a kind-of history of Altar Lane, which delineates two historical landed-estates between Bingley and Keighly in West Yorkshire. Altar Lane has many contemporary leisure usages and has followed agricultural and industrial developments over the last two centuries. This provided rich fodder for conversation, rich-fantasy and documentary all of which are combined into this piece commissioned by Outlands Network for radio broadcast.

Join us as we head up the hill looking for natural materials that we can use to dye material using our camping stove as we look out over the Aire Valley from Altar Rock.
